Nude SuperBowl XXXV Lake Como Family Nudist Resort, located approximately 20 miles north of Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL, is celebrating Superbowl weekend with a Flag Football game between the "Bare Buns" and the "Totally Tans." Other festivities include a Chili Cook-Off, Superbowl Dance, and Nude TailGate Party.
Thanks to a small mention about this event in Sports Illustrated, this unique Flag Football game is sparking interest across the county, and we welcome the media to attend. CBS National Network News will be covering the story on Saturday, along with some other reporters and writers.
The Flag Football game will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 27, following the National Anthem sung by one of our talented members. The players consist of Como members and guests (including some challengers from another nudist park), ranging from age 16 to over 50. A "half-time" acrobatic/variety show will begin at 2:00 p.m. The game will be
complete with cheerleaders, a DJ announcer, brats, hot dogs, burgers and beverages. Weather permitting, most people will be nude. These people are purely amateurs, just having a good time in the Florida sun.Lake Como Family Nudist Resort was founded in the 1940's and was the first nudist club in Florida. Como has 1500 members and more than 20,000 visitors a year. The property consists of a mobile home residential community of 158 permanent sites, a 35-acre lake, and resort with a restaurant and bar, recreational facilities, and overnight accommodations
including 25 old Florida style motel units, 75 RV sites, and 20 tent camping sites, all surrounded by orange groves.Lake Como Nudist Resort has a variety of scheduled daily activities and special events through the year, mostly organized by volunteers. The resort is open 365 days a year and interested people make take a tour of the facilities any day between 10:00 a.m. - 4 p.m. Como has a safe, family-oriented, friendly atmosphere.
The resort members are actively involved with the community and contribute to organizations such as the Land O' Lakes Volunteer Fire Department, Central Pasco Chamber of Commerce, Red Cross, March of Dimes, Sea of Life Ministries, Christian Social Services, and other nudist organizations.
