Male sunbathers who like to let it all hang out near Cape Town's Sunset Beach got a rude shock this week when two law enforcement officials on scramblers appeared over the dunes and warned them to cover up or face the wrath of the law. The right to go naked in public in Chico remains intact after the City Council Tuesday declined a proposed anti-nudity law. The council voted 4-3 against drafting an ordinance giving police more power to deal with complaints about public nudity. Salina dismissed from lawsuit over naked child pictures
Salina police officers and the city have been dismissed from a lawsuit filed by a woman interrogated about photos processed at a Wal-Mart store that included partially nude images of her young daughter. Tamie Dragone of Lincoln, Kan., sued the city and the big retailer over the incident at a Wal-Mart Supercenter store in Salina in September of last year. She said she was humilitated and suffered emotional and mental distress when police called by store officials questioned her about the photos. More...
